Air Ride, also called Air Riding, is a move that appears in all three games in the Sonic Riders series. Though Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing/Transformed overshadow this one, I think it's still a good game, the controls are decent once you get used to them and the music is once again great. And if you are one of those devout Sega loyalists, track down Sonic Riders on just about any other platform than the PC, because this is hardly the ideal way to play the game. One night, Jet, who was observing a special cube in his airship, is suddenly interrupted by Storm who bursts into Jet's office. Eggman has challenged Sonic and friends to race in his World Grand Prix, and you can enter the event and try to unravel his mysterious plot. The controls are actually pretty good and make a lot of sense if it wasn't for the booby traps mentioned above, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity could appeal to a wider audience, not just Sonic fans. When in the menus, I press for example "up" once, but it counts like I pressed it twice. The controls are comfortable for the player, and have no problems. The fan-favorite Sonic Riders series returns with a whole new form of chaotic racing by manipulating gravity itself! Despite a vibration option being available in the Options menu, it does not seem to work when enabled. ![]() It is a racing maneuver used by racers riding on Extreme Gear, where users are able to take flight into mid-air on their Gear and pass through Dash Rings/Accelerators.
